The Perfect Cannoli
Cannoli's are a Sicilian pastry, pastry dough filled with ricotta. Most of the time they are mediocre, but when done right they are sublime.
I want to find who makes the best cannoli's, and to eat them. So far, Boston has proven superior over anything else on the East Coast of the US, and I'm guessing there won't be much more competition in North America. But out of due diligence, I will investigate further.
The best cannoli currently available in North America is Modern Pastry, after Maria's Pastry sadly closed. The best cannoli's I've had are in Sicily, and I suspect the best overall will be in Italy somewhere.
